Tom Levenson’s day job is as a professor of science writing at MIT, where he teaches and on occasion directs the Graduate Program in Science Writing. He writes and makes films about science, engineering, and anything else that catches his magpie's eye. His work includes six books, among them the upcoming Money for Nothing, The Hunt for Vulcan, Newton and the Counterfeiter and Einstein in Berlin, and about a dozen science documentaries. He received a Guggenheim Fellowship in 2016 and has won science communication awards from the AAAS and National Academy of Sciences, and has shared a Peabody Award. He lives in the Boston area with his wife, son and semi-feral cat.
