Daniel M. Russell

Dan Russell is a 14 veteran of Google search. He's written thousands of blog posts about search, and produced 88 short field study videos about how people search as seen through the lens of direct observation. His first book, "The Joy of Search" is a distillation of observations about how people search, and what they can do to be better searchers. Through story-telling, the book shows how people using search engines can improve their understanding of what they find.
